Co-Founder, Program Designer
Our program designer, Katie, is a dedicated educator with over ten years of Kindergarten teaching experience and a background in Behavioral Intervention, Early Childhood Development, and Special Needs Education. She is the architect of our play-based programs that support children’s readiness by developing essential physical, mental and emotional skills. Through sensory play and hands-on exploration, children learn in a way that’s both fun and foundational—preparing them for a successful transition to school.
INTRODUCTION TO KINDERGARTEN
This workshop will introduce first time parents preparing for their child going to school. You will go through a day in a life of Kindergarten - the expectations, hours at school, friends and play.
FOUNDATIONS OF PHYSICAL SKILLS
This workshop goes in-depth in the physical literacy recommended by the time they reach Kindergarten. You will go through what does Gross Motor actually means, why is it important, and how can you make sure your child is meeting the expected milestones.
FOUNDATIONS OF SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL SKILLS
This workshop will give you an in-depth understanding of the social and emotional requirements to make it through Kindergarten. A child telling how they are feeling, to coping with disappointment are skills that starts now.
FOUNDATIONS OF COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT
This workshop dives deep into the thinking, understanding, and how the brain connects everything together. You will learn how to teach your child through play to nurture and maximize their development.

Our Drop-In Learn & Play program invites children to explore and engage at their own pace. Whether they choose to participate in guided crafts and learning activities upstairs or enjoy play in the main floor, the choice is theirs. Children are welcome to move freely between spaces, encouraging creativity, independence, and discovery in a relaxed environment.
